    eDhamma.com, A Theravada Buddhism Website

This website is managed by a group of Myanmar Buddhist Families in the San Francisco Bay Area dedicated to the propagation of sasana all over the world. When a member of the group receives a dhamma tape, s/he lets the others know. All the members believe that "Dhamma dana is the supreme gift". Although we are far from Myanmar, we cherish Myanmar Buddhist culture. We want to share our treasure with readers all over the world. We have provided links to other Theravada sites. With their approval, we have posted biographies of eminent Sayadaws. Readers who want to practice vipassana are advised to seek the guidance of experienced meditation teachers. You can look up the various Theravada web sites for the schedules of short-term and long-term retreats.
